Licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, LCMSHC-S, Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Supervisor and Certified EMDR Trauma Therapist. I am a licensed clinical mental health professional counselor in North Carolina & South Carolina. I have been in the health care field for well over 10 years. My true calling has been providing psychotherapy for individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds. I have worked in various healthcare settings ranging from hospitals, inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient therapy facilities and also within the public school systems. I have a great deal of experience working with individuals struggling with issues related to substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety and bi-polar disorder. I also provide marital and family therapy to those dealing with communication and relationship difficulties. My treatment modalities consist primarily of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing and trauma informed therapeutic practices. |
